Jamui (Magnificent Bihar): In a joint operation by the Security forces and Bihar Police they have managed to destroy two Naxalite bunkers inside a forest in Bihar’s Naxal-hit Jamui district.
A joint team was led by Superintendent of police Upendra Sharma. The team raided a place in the Bheem Bandh forest a Naxalites grazing ground, last night. They destroyed the guerrilla bunkers where Maoists were supposedly running a training camp.
The police seized plenty of Maoist literature and some daily use items. No reports of seizure of any weapon or firearms have come to light during the operation. However, the Naxals managed to escape.
