Patna (Magnificent Bihar): Around 700 people from all around the state gathered at the Janta-Darbar held by the Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar. Kumar patiently listened to their problems and directed the concerned government officials to attend their problems as soon as possible.
Speaking on the U.P polls Kumar said that “what happens in U.P should stay in U.P”. Let only time decide what happens in the U.P polls; we should let U.P drift on its own way. Every political party in the country has the right to decide its own agenda, so it’s not necessary that two parties which may have a united stand in one state should do the same in other states as well, he was obviously referring to the ‘Rashtriya Jantantrik Gathbandhan’ between BJP and JDU in Bihar.
He also reiterated that the JDU is going to contest the U.P elections on its own and no one should get delusional by themselves, that the BJP and JDU need to be together in every other state.
Speaking on the statement by Robert Vadra and Priyanka Gandhi during their election campaign for the congress in U.P, he said that this is a free county and everyone has the freedom to practice their rights. So if Priyanka Gandhi feels like contesting an election there is no point arguing on that.
While taking a question on the Home Minister Chidabaram he said that the judicial system of India is transparent. Justice will be done, and if someone is guilty we should let the judiciaries decide what to do with them. If the judiciaries decide that someone is not guilty, we should gleefully accept that.
He also pointed out that various government departments which lack in manpower will be revamped and the state government will depute new officials to such departments if necessary. While talking on the Digha land controversy, he said that a new law has been made as an exception and the row will soon end.
Speaking on the issue of reservation for the schedule tribe he said that his party JDU will demand the central government for a parallel scheme to that, presently employed in the state. The state government has been offering 27% reservation to the schedule tribe which is classified in the Annexure-1 and Annexure-2.
While addressing a press-conference he said that the Janta-Darbar is aimed to solve the problems of the people of the state, right down to the Nano level. The provision of Janta-Darbar has been serving its purpose since I first started it. People who have been denied justice in any way have always been heard in the Janta-Darbar hence I think the provision of the same is justified by itself.
While addressing the problem between a Sarpanch and his Husband, Kumar reminded her that it’s your personnel problem you should sort it out with your husband. Plus the people have entrusted a big responsibility on your shoulders by making you a Sarpanch, if you won’t be able to solve your family problems how will you help the people?
Speaking on the regional development schemes by the state government, Kumar said that a tribunal has been formed in this regard along with necessary law. The funds for state planning commission have also been increased to 28 thousand crores. We will sincerely insure that total fund is properly used up, in the development processes, under the given time limit.
Kumar was accompanied by the land resource development minister Ramai Ram, State Home Secretary Amir Subhani and the state DGP Abhayanand along with other distinguished Delegates from the Nepal.
